I Love America Because...
A Happy and blessed Fourth of July to all Americans, who are celebrating our nation's 250th anniversary. Our country has stood the test of time and is still worth cheering for! Here's why.
I love America because…it is truly a beautiful country.
I love America because…we are a nation of mutts, so we seem to have a constant need to prove ourselves.
I love America because…the magnificent ideas from this country are contagious, not the least of which is the U.S. Constitution.
I love America because…our Founding Fathers recognized that God gave us our rights – not government.
I love America because…time and again, individuals rise to greatness to overcome the seemingly impossible.
I love America because…our citizens improve on the food of every culture in the world.
I love America because…we even give credit to other countries for foods invented here!
I love America because…it is the most generous nation on Earth.
I love America because…we never lose our desire to explore, from Lewis & Clark to Neil Armstrong and everyone in between, we simply want to know what’s out there.
I love America because…we aren’t afraid to speak up, from Susan B. Anthony to MLK, Jr. to Edward Snowden, we speak truth to power.
I love America because…we recognize that our political leaders are flawed but know they will often punch far beyond their weight when necessary.
I love America because…it is a land where so many have risen from the most meager beginnings to becoming captains of industry.
I love America because…we recognize our moral obligation to bring down the bad guys.
I love America because…we never cease to innovate.
I love America because…we can poke fun at politicians and not go to jail.
I love America because…when our government passes laws that are too extreme or unnecessary or just silly, we always seem to find a clever and legal way to overcome them.
I love America because…our National Parks are breathtaking.
I love America because…our beaches are stunning.
I love America because…we are (usually) able to laugh at ourselves.
I love America because…we create things that are completely unnecessary and even silly, but we enjoy them anyway.
I love America because…we’re free to learn and discover whatever interests us.
I love America because…no one can limit our aspirations.
